Madeline Horning, SFS ‘24

DPE Line: Simone Biles

Major: IPOL/ILAW

Minor: Psychology

Some other organizations you are involved with: Women's Center, SFS Ambassadors Program, GAAP

Why you joined DPE: I joined DPE with the hope of finding a group of like-minded, supportive women to aid me in my professional and academic careers. While I have found that in DPE, I have additionally found my closest friends and confidants. Without DPE, my Georgetown experience would be nowhere near as meaningful.
Fav DPE memory: My first Georgetown Day brunch! After two semesters of adjusting back to life on campus during COVID, Georgetown Day brunch was one of the first times sisters of all ages were able to come together and celebrate our amazing sisterhood and campus community.

Fun Fact: I have met the tiger king himself, Joe Exotic!

Anjali Paye, SFS ‘25

DPE Line: Serena Williams

Major: IPOL

Minor: French, Math

Some other organizations you are involved with: Blue & Gray, Innovo Consulting, Georgetown Radio, Georgetown Journal of International Affairs

Why you joined DPE: I joined DPE because I was looking for a group of passionate sisters who could provide me with advice, service opportunities, and a foreign service focus. DPE has provided me with all this and more. But most of all, I just wanted to meet some really cool and unique people and have a few more friendly faces on campus!
Fav DPE memory: My favorite DPE memory was the Serena's (my line) induction! It was a really special moment to be able to look back on our hard work, spend time with our bigs, and celebrate officially joining the sisterhood!

Fun Fact: I host a country radio show on the Georgetown Radio!
